Rotarians, spouses and Rotaractors from Rotary Clubs of St. Albert and Edmonton Northeast were in Cofradia, Mexico last week volunteering with Project Amigo. The theme of this service week was Culture and Literacy. Our volunteers spent time with young Mexican students helping them read and make some crafts while also learning about their culture. They also visited the University of Colima, saw traditional mask makers in Suchitlan and visited the school near a migrant camp near Queseria. Overall, a great and inspirational week. Special thanks to our cruise directors Darel and Kelly Baker for putting this all together!
