St. Albert has officially become an International City of Peace, joining a global network of communities committed to building a culture of peace. The RC of St. Albert Peace Action Group was honoured to facilitate this community-led process, with endorsement from St. Albert City Council and formal support from the St. Albert Host Lions Club, Order of Eagles, African and African Descendants Friendship Club, St. Albert and District Chamber of Commerce, and St. Albert Food Bank and Community Village. Join us on Sunday, September 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Rotary Park as we celebrate St. Albert becoming an International City of Peace during our International Day of Peace community event.
