The Honourable Justice Kent H. Davidson, former Chair of Miller Thomson, was appointed Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and a Judge ex officio of the Court of Appeal of Alberta on May 22, 2019.
Mr. Justice Davidson joined Miller Thomson in 2001 as a Labour & Employment partner, and has held numerous leadership positions at the firm, including Managing Partner for the Edmonton office and Managing Partner for Alberta. In 2014, he was elected Chair of the firm, a position he held until his appointment.
