On May 21st , youth came together to explore what positive peace means in our community and how they can be leaders and changemakers through their everyday actions. Through discussion, reflection, and creative expression, students shared ideas about inclusion, belonging, empathy, and building stronger communities.
As part of the workshop, facilitated by our Peace Action Group, youth were also invited to express their vision of peace through art and poetry, with selected pieces to be displayed at City Hall during Culture Days this September.
Building peace starts with conversation, connection, and youth voices.
